Summer Patio Series: Le Hot Club Swing
Sunday, August 27, 2023, 2-4pm
Le Hot Club Swing is a Gyspy Jazz, Manouche/Swing band in the style of the Hot Club of France from the 1930's and 1940's which featured Django Reinhardt on the guitar and Stepahne Grappelli on the violin, two of the most important Jazz influences of all time.
The band’s repertoire combines well known standards as well as more obscure but compelling songs that emphasizes skilled instrumental virtuosity. A Le Hot Club Swing show routinely leaves audiences highly satisfied and clamoring for more.
Band leader Rick Fulkerson on guitar, Rhonda Berney on mandolin, Jan Kahdeman on guitar and Tami Pallingston on upright bass have each been a part of the Sonoma County live music scene for years, playing in groups, such as the Blue Moon Dance band, Haute Flash Quartet and Swing Fling.
Donations optional, no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
