Nature Journaling for Teens (Ages 12-17)

Slow down in nature. Follow that bee to a hidden bloom. Incorporate the flexible techniques and strategies of nature journaling to create a colorful and unique journal.
Improve your observational skills, tickle your curiosity and learn to think like a detective. No previous experience is required.
Supplies needed: colored pencils, small watercolor set, small journal book.
About the Instructor:
Angela Sturr has been a longtime docent of the Laguna Foundation's Learning Laguna program, trained for numerous outdoor education programs with Landpaths and Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods, and completed the UC Naturalists program to become a California Naturalist. Finding long-term stewardship as a participant in the citizen science program Beach Watch, she gathers data monthly on South Salmon Creek beach.
