Using nature as a creative muse, students create garden art, wall art and musical instruments. The possibilities are endless when it comes to clay creations.

The instructor will provide a basic overview of working with clay; coil, slab and exploration on the wheel; your child’s imagination ignites the outcome in both functional and decorative art.

About the Instructor: Maria Mason is a credentialed art educator with over 20 years of experience in public and private education. In 2003 she founded The Bullfrog School of Fine Arts and Crafts transformed from a tadpole into a community-based art program that has offered a holistic, hands-on experience to over 500 students world-wide. Above everything else play and exploration is a key component to her studio workshops. Participants have a chance to, learn new skills and go beyond in a safe and nurturing environment. She is excited to be a part of the Sebastopol Center for the Arts summer programs!
