About the Instructor:
Michaela Thomas embarked on her musical journey over 25 years ago, where she began taking voice lessons. Over the years, she nurtured her passion for music by learning songwriting and various instruments, including the guitar, piano, and upright bass. Her dedication and love for music led her to perform professionally for the past fifteen years, playing in bands across genres like jazz, swing, bluegrass, and folk.
Michaela is studied in both classical and contemporary music techniques and has earned over 45 credits in Music Education. She teaches private music lessons and group music classes throughout Sonoma and Marin Counties.
For Michaela, music is a powerful force that thrives in the company of others. Her teaching philosophy centers around the belief that music should be experienced together in community.
