Judith’s presentation will begin with a slideshow featuring highlights of her long career in Fiber Art exploring contemporary interpretations of the Japanese dye technique: arashi-shibori.
She will discuss the new and unexpected directions her work has taken over the last five years, particularly 3D sculptural compositions and ephemeral land art installations.
A hands-on demonstration following the lecture will include a “dry-dye-demo” where Judith reveals her most recent escapades in shibori dyeing.
