DATE: July 1-3, 2024 (Mon-Wed)

TIME: 1pm-4pm

Campers will engage in playing instruments from all over the world to create a group atmosphere of cooperation and communication.  We will explore the materials that the instruments are made from and where the materials come from.  This will be a jumping off point to further explore the materials that are in the things we use every day such as our clothing.

We will create small weavings from upcycled textiles. Campers, please bring in lightweight scarves made from silk, polyester, thin T shirts with and without holes that can no longer be worn, thin athletic wear such as rash guards that are too stretched to wear.  These items will be cut up and upcycled to make small weavings. Thus, keeping these textiles out of landfill!

Please bring a brown bag lunch. Complimentary snacks will be provided by SebArts, 12pm-1pm on each day.
