Join us for an evening of poetry and music with Poet Laureate Elizabeth Herron, Maya Khosla, Raphael Block, and cellist RutiCelli.
We will delve deep into the meanings of landscapes both literally, as in the forests, oceans, and rivers, and metaphorically, referring to our own inner landscape, attitudes, feelings, emotions, collective conditioning, etc.
Love, in its many forms, is the agent of transformation, sometimes in the guise of disasters, divisions, fear, and even hatred, before its unifying elements can be revealed.
All three books describe our present relationship to Earth and offer ways to change our trajectory:
Elizabeth Herron's, In the Cities of Sleep, Maya Khosla's, All the Fires of Wind and Light, and Raphael Block's new book, The Dreams We Share.
RutiCelli will open with music and poets will each share their work for 15 minutes with 5 minutes or so of instrumental music between the poets.
We will then have 20 to 30 minutes for audience responses and Q & A with the three poets, followed by book signings, light refreshments, and more music.
