In an international call for entries, we posed this question to artists the world over. By requesting they hold the mirror up to themselves, we were hoping for work that reflects back answers relevant to all of us. We wanted to see work forged out of what identity means to each artist on a personal level. The result is a highly diverse and expressive exhibition. We hope they offer the viewer a wealth of shared insights, connections and deep understandings.
