Open Studio time is uninstructed and prior knowledge in the craft is required for use.

Beginners must take lessons before using the studio.

Ages 16 and above can use the studio on their own.

Ages 15 and younger must be under direct supervision to work inside the main studio.

We feel extremely fortunate to be able to welcome you back to the Sebastopol Center for the Arts ceramics studio. As the state of this public health emergency changes from day to day, we will remain focused on keeping everyone safe, healthy and informed. Be prepared to wear a mask when you visit and honor all mandated health precautions.

We have 8 wheels and 12 table work/handbuilding sessions available.

Ceramics Studio Session

ATTENTION: The previous scheduling system is no longer necessary for booking studio time. Purchasing a session will allow for you to enter the studio anytime within open hours so long as it is within a 4 hour period. See schedule above.

You must bring your own tools. Clay must be purchased online and at SebArts only.

No cash or checks accepted.

Be prepared to show your proof of purchase at pickup with either a printed copy of your receipt or by email.

Online Clay Purchase

Purchase clay online and come to the studio to pick up. Work in the studio during Open Studio hours , or work at home and bring back for firing.

*Due to the increased cost of clay and electricity, we are no longer able to include firing for free. Studio requires users purchase a minimum of 1 studio session per bag of clay.

Clay must be purchased online (no cash or checks). Please show your proof of purchase at pickup - bring a printed copy of your receipt, or show email receipt on your phone.

Please make your clay selection from the dropdown menu. Currently we sell: B-mix, Speckle Buff, Red Velvet, 1/2 & 1/2, Soldate 60 and B-3.

Please bring your order # and sign in at the ceramic studio when you pick up.

Ceramics Open Studio: Monthly Subscription
$150.00 every month

This RECURRING subscription is $150 per month and provides users drop-in access to the studio anytime during open studio hours: Mon, Tues 9am - 9pm / Wed, Thurs, Fri 9am - 1pm / Sat & Sun, 9am - 5pm.

This membership is not for production potters and includes only 3 cubic feet of firing per month.
