DIGITAL ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS

****Although we are hopeful to have an on site show, this exhibit may be only virtual due to ongoing COVID – 19 concerns.  This prospectus treats the show as if it were online only.  We will happily notify artists if this changes. ****

ALL DIGITAL ENTRIES ARE SUBMITTED VIA ENTRYTHINGY

NON-REFUNDABLE ENTRY FEES
SCA Members – $20 per entry or 3 entries for $45 (basic membership is $50 annually)
Non Members – $25 per entry or 3 entries for $60
Under 21 –  $10 per piece

AWARDS
$300 Best of Show, Second place $200, Third place $100, Merit Awards.

Student award :  First place $100, Second place $50

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Open to all artists worldwide.
  • Maximum of 3 pieces (art work) per artist.
  • Wall hung work may not weigh over 50 pounds
  • If art is not for sale, write NFS.
  • All work must be original (no reproductions of original artwork).
  • All work must be of your own creation
  • All work must NOT have been previously shown in the Galleries at SCA.
  • SUBMISSIONS can ONLY be made online via com. No hand delivery at this time.

 

SELECTION:

  • The awards will be selected by the JUROR listed in the Call for Entry.
  • Work will be shown and sold in an ONLINE gallery on sebarts.org

 

NOTIFICATION:
AWARDS will be announced and posted September 7th after 1PM

 

ENTRYTHINGY CALLS FOR ENTRY:
EntryThingy.com is your portal to upload images for this show. This can be done anytime before September 4 but the DEADLINE is September 4.

 

First time using EntryThingy?
Do not wait until the day of the deadline! EntryThingy has its own FAQs to help you, and can be reached via email if you have problems: Hello@entrythingy.com.

Make sure all images you upload are 5 MB or less in size and are in JPEG format. If not, EntryThingy will not let them be uploaded. Resize if necessary before starting the entry process.

If you need to make any edits once your entry is submitted, please contact visualarts@sebarts.org and we will change your entry back to unsubmitted, which allows you to go back into your entry to make changes. For example:  if you forgot to upload your image, or want to change the selling price.

  • Each entry/piece can have one main image and up to two views to show perspective.
  • We advise that you submit high quality images that best represent your work. When filling out forms, make an entry in each field.
  • Use N.A.; if the field does not apply.
  • Pay via PayPal

 

LIABILITY, SALES etc. REGARDING WORK SUBMITTED:

  • Selected work must be on view for the duration of the exhibit. No work may be withdrawn prior to close of the exhibition.
  • Selected artists agree to allow work to be photographed for media use, for educational and publicity purposes.
  • You can watermark your photos if you want to do so.
  • Artists receive 70% of the sales price.
  • Sales occurring as a result of the exhibit up to 30 days after closing date are subject to a 30% commission.
  • Indicate clearly on form if work is not for sale NFS
  • Shipping of sold work to the customer is the responsibility of the artist.
