Designed for independent documentary filmmakers–the voices of our culture–SDFF enters its 11th year. It is the year of Destination: DOCS where films and their directors will converge on this small town in Northern California to share their stories. SDFF presents films to engage community and stimulate critical thinking. DOCS have the power to catapult adventurous spirits on explorations to the edge of the world and into deepest chasms of the heart.

Art at the Source is held annually on the first two weekends of June, showcasing some of the area’s best established and emerging artists, who exhibit in individually and in shared studios throughout Western Sonoma County. Founded in 1995, Art at the Source is a non-juried program that provides a long-established creative ritual for thousands of regional art lovers and wine country tourists.
Each of these programs, in their unique ways, promotes the arts as a significant Sonoma County asset and increases public awareness about the quality and diversity of art created in our county. The events also help to support artists by providing a venue in which artists can exhibit and sell their work.
Sebastopol Center for the Arts Ceramics Studio offers students, potters and sculptors of all levels, the opportunity to enroll in a variety of classes, as well as work independently using an assortment of commercial claybodies and various firing techniques.
