To name SCA as beneficiary is simple! You may make a gift through your estate by naming SCA as a beneficiary of a will, trust, life insurance policy, retirement account, or other assets.
For example, to name SCA as a beneficiary of a retirement plan or life insurance policy, contact the retirement plan administrator or life insurance company and complete the appropriate beneficiary designation form.
You may make a planned gift to SCA by including a provision in your will or living trust such as a bequest or gift through your estate.
A gift from your estate may include a transfer of cash, or other property made through your estate plan.
A bequest to SCA can be made for a specific amount, for a percentage of your estate, or for all or a portion of what is left after you have made bequests to your family. To make a gift to SCA from your estate, you must sign a new will or living trust instrument, add a codicil to your present will, or make an amendment to your present trust instrument.
When you donate to the endowment fund, you contribute to SCAs financial stability. This fund accepts gifts which are retained in perpetuity providing a source of security for SCA. No withdrawls from the fund may be used other than for the advancement of the organization’s charitable purposes.
