Motion Theater Performance Lab

Motion Theater is a form of improvised, autobiographical theater that is grounded in lively physicality. This class gives you the physical and spiritual tools to translate your inner life into theater. Stories reside in the body, so we begin by moving from our center, giving voice and gesture to our private characters and realities. A performance sharing will be offered at the end of the series (participation optional).

Want to lose weight, quit eating foods which do not serve you, get out of bad habits and into better ones, and get in a little physical activity? This program is for you! Hour-long weekly meetings incorporate 20 minutes of life coaching to connect with the emotions of our relationship with food, 20 minutes of education on how to become a truly healthy eater, and 20 minutes of gentle physical activity. If you've tried a zillion ways to get healthy and nothing has clicked this could be the answer...what have you got to lose?

Pilates + Bellydance
Instructor: Jo Braden, Certified Pilates Instructor

The class will combine Pilates conditioning with Bellydance drills to give a comprehensive and fun workout! Traditional and modern Middle Eastern music will set the mood as we weave Pilates, barre, and Theraband exercises with bellydance moves, drills, and combinations. Wear comfy clothing that you can move in and bring a yoga mat if you have one (some will be available to use) and a bottle of water! All fitness levels are welcome, and no prior experience with Pilates or bellydance is needed.
